I'm just a Kid..
Keira's Singing: Kate DeAraugo - Maybe Tonight
The weather is now: Chilly 13.3c
Call this a tribute, call this an attack, call this a RIIE (Randomly Irrelevant Impulsive Entry). I'm still going to do it. I don't usually posses the interest in writing about someone else's blog in mine, so consider this a special presentation.
Sometime ago, I was shown a blog entry that was filled with pure insulting (yes, there's a difference between pure and intellectual insults) comments towards a friend of mine who was working as a ticket seller in a local cinema. Comments such as "Selling tickets are low." and "If you need extra allowance, just get it from your parents." were all over that particular entry (you see where I'm getting at?) and he tried hard to make the entire entry sound articulate as he was composing a damaging entry (at least to my friend). While my friend was deeply angered and shocked by his truly RIIE, he removed the entry and went to complain to his mum, who then apparently told him that his friend that he insulted just moments ago is just a mediocre and that he shouldn't be hanging out with her as much. Not to mention, the mum of the kid is actually a friend of the girl's mum. (So much for family friends) :end:
Fast forward a couple of weeks later
The same kid is trying to hold a birthday party, and is desperate into getting everything in place, which include:
1) Getting girls to the party, but only managed to invite 11 guys to the party (Isn't it obvious why).
2) Begging his friends to request him for live online feed during the so called birthday bash.
3) Getting the mummy's help into asking her friend to attend in order to get the girls she labelled mediocre to attend (He shouldn't be hanging out with them!). So now there are at least 2 girls. Good on ya. =)
4) Acting as the cool kid in school and town by getting some 'band' to perform in his party but was again obviously rejected abruptly.
5) Using Google! Earth to locate his house and use it as a map and put it up for attendees to get the directions. (Eggs, anyone?)
6) Putting up some extremely annoying music that plays uninterruptedly in the background, which you cannot stop.
7) Attending language school to increase his language efficiency in order to insult people intellectually (Perhaps?).
After a sincere and non-vulgarity comment left on his blog, he changed his nickname to "You can insult me, you can insult my dog, but insult my family, and you're dead meat." (I was really tempted to try on his mum, but heck, I wanna look intellectual. Hah!) Not too happy with the comment I suppose? But hey, heard of cause and effect?
Yeah I know, he's only 15 and I should probably give him a break. So I guess I should just let him be and allow him to grow up at the pace that suits his mentality and probably endanger the future of society's morality? He needs a reality check and yeah, you guessed it.
Reality hurts. The truth is going to hurt more. Denial hurts much more later. How much hurt are you willing to take?
